Turkey Wins Golf Award
Turkey has been commended with the 2008 Golf Destination of the Year Award for Europe at the IAGTO Awards
The Awards are the official annual awards for the golf tourism industry and on receiving the Award for Europe Ali Sahin, Director of Golf, Cornelia Golf Club and IAGTO Turkey Chapter Chairman said We are very proud and happy to win this award. The award means we have achieved something because we have worked very hard over the last 10 years. We started off with just one course in Turkey, and now we have 14. Over the next two or three years there will be about 30 courses throughout Turkey.
Flipflops located in Gulluk, Bodrum boasts close proximity to a range of courses with plans for more in the future.
