Overseas Property Owners to Increase in 2008
Industry analysts have commented on predictions for the overseas property industry in 2008.
The Exchange Insurance Company (EIC) has said that between Brits and those living in Ireland currently collectively own 3.8 million properties overseas.
The insurance firm predicts that this figure is set to increase by up to a massive 10 per cent in 2008; two per cent more than the increase seen in 2007.
This increase is in spite of the current housing crisis in the UK, which the EIC believes will not have an impact on overseas property sales.
International Property Agents recently reported that a property expert from FirstRungNow said that first time buyers could benefit from taking their small deposits overseas, especially to markets where growth is likely; such as Turkey.
