Adventures!
The Ticket to Ride centre, located in Marbella, offers a range of things to do, from rock climbing to windsurfing, quad biking to kayaking, there's a whole lot to keep you happy here. Call (+34) 952 905 082 for more information.

Puerto Cabopino
A little marina, Cabopno is worth a visit one lazy afternoon. It has a beach with beach front eateries and bars, and there's a naturist area if you look hard enough!

Day Trips
There are a few day trips popular among visitors to Marbella, these include:
• A tour of Marbella city
• Seville
• The Picasso Museum
• The caves at Nerja

Culture and Arts
Urbanisation Los Naranjos's Clubhouse Bar and Brasserie hosts an Art Fair every Sunday, from 2p.m. to 6p.m. which exhibits works from local artists. All the pieces are for sale, and there's a buffet put on by the Clubhouse, so you can make an afternoon of it.

Golf
Marbella has ten golf courses, ranging from €60 - €100 for a round.

Shopping
Marbella has many shops, boutiques, shopping malls and markets. El Corte Ingles - the well-known department store is located on Avenida de Andalucia.

Los Candiles market is held each Friday evening, from 5p.m. to 10p.m. It's a Medieval market, held in the Old Town.

Socialise
The Muffin Cafe holds a get together coffe morning each Wednesday, which is organised by the British Association of Marbella, so expats and tourists can meet each other, share tips and advice and play bridge too.

Sunbathing
Not exactly an activity by definition, but never-the-less it's a favourite past time of many Brits. Nikki Beach is very popular among tourists as it's well-known to be the sunbathing-place-of-choice of footballers, TV stars and other celebrities. There are other beaches available along the 27km long coastline, so keep your eyes peeled for free sunbeds and showers if celeb-spotting isn't your thing.

Puerto Banus beach is 1km long, and has loads of water sports on offer, as well as beach front restaurants and cafes, and a pedestrian promenade.
