Sports and Watersports in Altinkum

There's a range of sports and water sports in Altinkum, and what Altinkum doesn't offer can be found down the road on the Bodrum Peninsula.

Between Altinkum's three beaches the adrenalin junkie can choose from watersports including parasailing, windsurfing, banana boat and doughnut rides, small boat hire and speed boat rides. Those looking for something more relaxing can rent out a paddle boat for a reasonable rate. Just ask any vendor to get an idea of prices for sports and watersports in Altinkum.

Altinkum offers diving for the inexperienced to the very experienced - expect to see a range of marine life under water, including octopus, lobster, barracuda and even dolphins!

Some of the bigger hotels have tennis courts which are open to the public; sometimes for a fee. Usually you can rent tennis rackets and the balls too.

There are two golf courses already open in Bodrum, which is around one hour's drive away. Another golf course - an 18-hole course is currently under construction, as is due to open in Spring 2009.
